How to equalize audio

  1. Drop your song in. Choose or drag an MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG or FLAC — it loads in your browser and is never uploaded.
  2. Shape the sound. Drag the band sliders (or pick a preset like Bass boost or Vocal), then press Preview result to hear it. Keep Prevent clipping on so boosts don't clip.
  3. Apply EQ & download. Save the equalized track as MP3 or WAV.

Frequently asked questions (5)

Is it free?

Yes — completely free, with no sign-up, no watermarks, and no limit on how many tracks you equalize.

What does each slider do?

Each of the 8 sliders boosts or cuts one frequency band — from deep bass at 60 Hz up to airy treble at 16 kHz — by up to ±12 dB. Lower bands control warmth and punch; higher bands control presence and brightness.

Will boosting distort the audio?

Not with Prevent clipping on (the default): a fast limiter holds the loudest peaks just under 0 dB, so boosted bands don't clip. Turn it off only if you want the raw EQ output and accept possible clipping.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Decoding and processing happen locally in your browser, so your audio never leaves your device.

Which formats can I use?

Whatever your browser can decode — MP3 and WAV work everywhere, with M4A, OGG and FLAC where supported. The result is saved as MP3 or WAV.
